Vietnamese war-game board goes online, signs up nearly 700 players
A student in Ho Chi Minh City has put Cờ Tư Lệnh on the web. He says about 300 of his registrations arrived in three days.

Cờ Tư Lệnh is a Vietnamese military strategy board game. Lê Minh Tân has built a version of it that runs in a browser.
The site is Cờ Tư Lệnh Online. Tân says he made it to get the game onto the internet, where a wider set of players can reach it.
He reports nearly 700 registered users. Roughly 300 of those, on his account, signed up within a three-day stretch.
Those figures come from the site's own dashboard. Tân has offered screenshots and account statistics on request rather than publishing them.
He is a student of artificial intelligence at Nguyen Tat Thanh University in Vietnam. The game is not his coursework.
It is also not his only build. Tân says he is the main product developer behind IntelligentTrack, a system combining internet-connected hardware, a web app and a mobile app to monitor goods while they are in transit.
IntelligentTrack comes from a team called LOGIT, of which he is a member.
LOGIT took First Prize in the industrial technology, information technology and digital transformation category at the semifinal round of the NTTU Innovation Startup Challenge 2026, Tân says. The university has published an article on the result, according to him.
A semifinal prize is a semifinal prize. The final has not been reported.
What holds the two projects together is a claim about output rather than credentials: that the ideas leave the classroom and land in front of people who use them.
Neither product has published pricing, revenue or a business model. Cờ Tư Lệnh Online is a free-to-register site as described; the submission says nothing about how, or whether, it makes money.
For founders, the useful detail is the sign-up shape rather than the total. Nearly 700 users is a small number. Three hundred of them arriving in three days is a different fact, and it usually means something specific happened — a post, a forum, a community that already existed.
Tân has not said what that was. Anyone building for a niche audience with a pre-existing following would want to know.
